Going Back in Time: Big Bear Trip

Our family decided to rent a little cabin in Big Bear for two days and have some fun time together. The place was really nice and it had two floors, two bathrooms, a kitchen and one big jacuzzi. I (Aubrey) loved the cabin. That day we decided to take walks around Big Bear. We went to a park and chased birds and ducks. That night we went to Dennys to have dinner. We got home and went to bed.
The next day we woke up, got ready and then went to IHop for breakfast. That day we decided to go fishing, it would be the kids first time! We had to get all these fishing things and then we headed off to the boat. These two men steered the boat and told us a lot of jokes and facts about fish. My dad asked all these questions like 'What kind of fish lives here in this lake?'
On the boat they had a lot of equipment. The had at least 5 fish poles in the water to catch fish. We sat down on these benches with our big orange life jackets and ate the snacks they provided. All of a sudden a line tugged. "We got one!" called one of the men. They called me over to reel it in. It took some strength and I pulled it up. It wasn't the biggest Rainbow Trout fish but, it was good size. I went back to sit down. I looked out the side of the boat and the view was stunning. It was beautiful.
Another fishing line pulled. This time he called Walker over. Walker patted my leg and said "It doesn't look that hard." It took Walker longer than I did to pull it up. It was the same size as mine. "Okay maybe it was a little hard." he said. We decided to name our fish. I named mine Tangy and Walker named his Bob.
Another fishing poll tugged. The men called Maverick over. Maverick tried to pull it up. But, when he got it up there was no fish there. "It was a trickster!" called the man that was steering the boat. A trickster is a fish that gets tangled up in the other line and can make it's way free. Maverick tried a second time and he got another trickster. It was time to start heading back. A couple times we saw a fish spring out of the water. We had two choices with the fish. The men could kill them (they had put them in a bucket of water) or they could throw them back.
We all decided it would be best if we threw them back. We got back to the dock and walked to the car. We headed to the grocery store to get some more food. We got a lot of junk food like chips and oreos and cookies. We also got waffles, milk, strawberries, ice cream. We rented a movie too. We decided to go into the jacuzzi. It was really fun. But, it had a ton of chlorine. At first it changed the colors of our swimsuits but then we washed it off and they were back to normal. :) After that we watched G-Force made dinner and went to bed.
The next morning we had to get ready to leave. It was super fun and I wish we could've stayed longer.
