Back to October/ Halloween

Skipping back to October.
For Halloween last year my family was Indiana Jones, Obi Wan Kenobi, Ariel and Belle, Yoda, Padma, Darth Vadar (who didn't want to have his picture taken) and me, a vampire. We celebrated Halloween with our cousins who were some pretty fantastic witches. The individual pictures were taken two days before Halloween. That day all of the kids were going to school in their costumes for a Halloween parade. Even though only the olders were going to school dressed up the youngers still thought they needed to get in their costumes. On Halloween day Ainsley decided she didn't want to be the beautiful Princess Ariel anymore. She wanted to be the book lover Princess Belle. Well, we couldn't argue with her so we decided to let her wear Belle. Then, she said she wanted to wear makeup like her big sister. We gave her some eyeliner and lipgloss and she was satisfied.
We all decided to go to a friends house where we would go trick-or-treating. People would drive cars into their humongous backyard. You open your trunks and give out candy to all the kids. They had a table with refreshments and they had games like 'Eat a Donut off a String' or 'What Am I Sticking My Hand In'. All the kids went around at least three times. Then they started to hand out candy. By the end our pillowcases were full to the top. Everybody was tired and ready to go home but, not without a full stomach of candy. The rule at our house is on Halloween you can eat as much candy as you want but, the days after that you have to have a limit. We stuffed ourselves and went to bed.
The next morning all the kids decided to get out our candy, sort them and trade them. Somehow I got a snickers bar from Walker. He does tough trading. Halloween was fun and I can't wait til' next year.
