Aubrey's Webkinz Story

Aubrey, Walker, and Maverick have found a lot of joy in their little Webkinz toys. You buy these plush animal toys (which are very cute) and they allow you by secret code onto a website where you can take care of the animal, answer questions, learn to budget, virtual shop, and play games. Well, on this particular day there was a "Webkinz Newz Contest" in which Aubrey wanted to enter. The Contest: Write a short story describing how and why the "Green Shimmer Snake" who at one time had legs, no longer has them. Odd. Yes. Creative. Yes. So Aubrey wanted to take this challenge. Here is her final story...I think she did an excellent job!

Anna the 4-legged snake dreamed of being part of her school's jump rope team. She asked the team if she could jump with them in their next competition but they kindly explained to her that they already had enough jumpers and there was no room for an extra Webkinz. Anna went home sad and fell asleep on her bed. She dreamed that she was part of their team and they won the entire competition. When she woke up she fell out of bed! She had no legs! The next day at the Kinzville Academy she was afraid the other Webkinz would make fun of her. Instead they invited her to join their jump rope team. As the jump rope that is! Because she shimmered and shined as the jump rope, her team won the competition! Anna said "I guess dreams really do come true!"
