Exhibit A--October at Grandma's House

While we were at Grandma's house, boy did we fill our time with activities and festivities! As you've seen in previous posts, we visited the Pumpkin patch, soaked ourselves on Randa's backyard waterslide, and threw our youngest sister a baby shower, but there's still so much to talk about! To all of my friends who actually follow this blog, it's because of action-packed weekends like this that I am still behind in my blogging. Let's just call this exhibit-A!
One night, we offered Randa and Mark the chance to go out on a date without their kids. While they were gone, we held a Clark Grandkids talent show! Aubrey sang a soulful song, Walker recited his Mimi Mouse Alphafriends song, Maverick delivered a comedy set, Landrie recited a lovely poem, Brynlie was pensive in melodic tones, and Callie sang "Twinkle, twinkle." It received rave reviews from Grandma who judged them on their accuracy and might I say, judged like a Paula Abdul and not like a Simon Cowell.
We also hit the Jelly Belly factory that weekend and took the tour. We learned how they were made, produced, and even tried their newest flavors patterned after "Cold Stone" ice cream. Delicious! The kids loved all the free samples and all the jelly bean machinery!
We even hit the local "Kids gone wild" inflatable playland. We just love those places and still have had no injuries in the family! Maverick loved playing basketball with Uncle Mark, Walker, Aubrey and the cousins, loved catapulting themselves from the top of the giant slides. Randa and I even got in on the fun! Those photos however were somehow lost (aka they will never be posted)...it's unfortunate. (And please pardon the horrible red eye, and even worse red eye correction in some of these photos!)
